A&K Travel Group Launches Travel Protection with Allianz Partners

A&K Travel Group (AKTG), the global lifestyle and travel brand and parent company of Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), has announced it has selected Allianz Partners to offer travel protection products to its valued guests. A&K pioneered luxury travel adventure more than 60 years ago and is today the world’s premier luxury travel company, with an unrivaled legacy of creating memorable, inspiring adventures in more than 100 countries on all seven continents. A&K selected Allianz to provide travel insurance and assistance products based on Allianz’s global network and focus on coverage, service and innovation.

Allianz trip protection includes benefits for covered unexpected cancellations, interruptions, travel delays and missed connections, as well as benefits for unforeseen medical emergencies and baggage issues covered under the plan. Abercrombie & Kent guests can also take advantage of Allianz’s award-winning travel assistance and concierge services.

A&K guests will have access to a custom suite of products that can provide coverage up to 100% of the insured trip cost if insured customers need to cancel or interrupt their trip for a reason covered by their plan.* Additional benefits under the plans include up to $100,000 in coverage for covered medical emergencies, up to $1,000,000 for covered emergency medical transportation costs as well as coverage for lost, delayed or damaged baggage.
