DAY 1
SUNDAY

Meet in Paris and transfer to 'La Nouvelle Etoile,' moored in the heart of Épernay, for a cruise in France's Champagne region. After a welcome reception, enjoy a leisurely cruise before a gourmet dinner on board.

DAY 2
MONDAY

After breakfast, cruise along the River Marne, past vine-covered hills dotted with small wine villages. From Damery, visit the vast cellars of Moët & Chandon for a private tasting. Continue to Reims for a walk around the town and a visit to the cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where kings of France were crowned.

DAY 3
TUESDAY

Visit Château-Thierry, where an impressive monument commemorates the achievements of American forces in World War I. After a delicious lunch on board the barge, enjoy a tasting at a small family-run vineyard.

DAY 4
WEDNESDAY

Cruise to the beautiful town of La-Ferté-sous-Jouarre for an excursion to Coulommiers, where fine cheese is produced. Visit a master cheese maker for a tasting of the various Bries, along with wines from the excellent cellars.

DAY 5
THURSDAY

Visit the town of Meaux, whose ramparts date from Roman times. Explore the cathedral and lovely bishops' garden, attributed to the famous landscape architect André Le Nôtre. Later, enjoy shopping at some of the town's boutiques and specialty shops.

DAY 6
FRIDAY

Drive to the magnificent 17th-century Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a masterpiece of Louis XIV architecture with extensive, beautifully restored gardens. Return to 'La Nouvelle Etoile' for a scenic afternoon cruise to the heart of Paris. The barge moors in the Latin Quarter for a gala farewell dinner on board.

After breakfast, the program concludes with transfer to a central Paris location.
