You may opt to join your fellow guests for a guided hike through the Maligne Canyon, with its impressive 200-foot-tall limestone walls. Later, experience a hands-on lesson in wildlife and landscape photography from a professional. Enjoy the remainder of your day exploring your natural surroundings at leisure.
LAKE LOUISE | Through the Ice Fields
Travel along the scenic Icefields Parkway for a full day of adventure. Visit Sunwapta Falls and then stop at the massive Athabasca Glacier (7,000 feet) for an exciting ride across its surface on a specially designed vehicle. After lunch, see Crowfoot glacier and the glacier-fed Peyto Lake. Finish the day at your historic resort set on Lake Louise (5,750 feet).

Travel through serene Yoho National Park, pausing to explore Takakkaw Falls, before proceeding to Emerald Lake, vibrantly colored by glacial sediment. Meet with your expert guide, who reveals the geological and natural forces behind this scenic lake, and describes the breathtaking natural surroundings and habits of the endangered grizzly bear. After lunch, weather permitting, view the Spiral Tunnel and Kicking Horse Natural Bridge. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Lake Louise at your own pace.
BANFF | Canada’s Stunning First National Park
Start your day with a visit to glacier-fed Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Canadian Rockies. Then, head to Johnston Canyon, with its sheer walls, waterfalls, tunnels and pools. Stroll the interpretive walkways before continuing to Banff. Take a trip up to the summit of Sulphur Mountain on the Banff Gondola for striking views over the Rockies.
