April 30, 2024

Abercrombie & Kent is thrilled to unveil its latest adventure, Wildlife Adventure by Land & Sea: Around the World by Private Jet, scheduled from May 19 to June 11, 2025. This extraordinary journey promises to take guests on an unparalleled exploration of the world's most captivating destinations, combining thrilling wildlife encounters both on land and underwater.

“This marks the third installment of our wildlife-themed private jet journeys over the past three years. Spanning seven breathtaking destinations, from the majestic waters of Palau to the untamed wilderness of Nepal, this journey offers unparalleled encounters with nature's wonders,” explains Ann Epting, Senior Vice President, Private Jet & Special Interest Travel. “What sets this adventure apart is our commitment to personalization, empowering guests to tailor their experience with our exclusive Design Your Day options. It will be a voyage where every moment is crafted to ignite the spirit of adventure.”

The journey begins in Maui, where guests will stay at the luxurious Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean.

Key highlights of the adventure include:

Palau: Underwater Wonders | May 21–23
The first stop on this globe-spanning adventure begins in Koror, Palau, one of the richest marine ecosystems and a dream for divers and snorkelers. Explore the underwater life and spectacular reefs and go on a whale watching excursion, see World War II relics or swim among non-stinging jellyfish.

Indonesia: The Sumatran Rhino | May 24–26
Helicopter to Way Kambas National Park, one of the oldest protected forests in Indonesia, and home to the critically endangered Sumatran rhino, where guests will exclusively visit a sanctuary closed to the public. Guests will learn about conservation efforts from a specialist rhino veterinarian.

Nepal: River & Land Safaris | May 27–29
Embark on river boat safaris in Chitwan National Park to search for the near-extinct gharial crocodile and other wildlife. Take four-wheel-drive safaris to spot the critically endangered one-horned rhino, the elusive Bengal tiger, and the wild sloth bear.

Seychelles: Ocean Paradise | May 30–Jun 1
Relax on Mahe Island, one of 115 mostly uninhabited islands teeming with rare wildlife and offering endlessly enticing scenery. Choose from a variety of activities, including exploring local markets, birdwatching for rare species, or enjoying thrilling water activities.

Namibia: Etosha National Park | Jun 2–4
Enjoy privileged access to Namibia’s foremost wildlife sanctuary, including a private watering hole with photo blind. Spot lions, elephants, leopards, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, and two types of zebras as you explore the park, a dream destination for photographers.

Brazil: The Pantanal | Jun 5–7
Venture deep into the Pantanal, the world’s largest tropical wetland, in search of the elusive jaguar and other iconic wildlife such as capybaras, howler monkeys, and river otters.

Panama: Gamboa National Park | Jun 8–10
Pay an exclusive visit to the Sloth Sanctuary with a wildlife expert, then continue to explore Gamboa Rainforest Reserve in search of howler, squirrel, spider and white-faced capuchin monkeys, as well as Baird’s tapir, toucans, and other exotic birds.

Elite Privileges
A&K provides exclusive access to unique experiences, including a visit to the Gamboa Rainforest Reserve’s Sloth Sanctuary and an opportunity to see the vanishing Sumatran rhino up close at a sanctuary in Way Kambas National Park, normally closed to the public.

Customize Your Adventure
Guests can personalize their experience with a range of Design Your Day activities, including outdoor excursions, cultural encounters, and wellness experiences. In Seychelles, guests may discover local markets and sightseeing around the island, foodies can choose between a Creole cooking lesson or a mixology class at a rum distillery, birdwatchers can search for rare species only found on these islands and active guests may opt for thrilling water activities. In Panama, they can explore the Panama Canal, walk the historic Casco Antiguo neighborhood, spot wildlife on a guided kayak excursion or visit an Indigenous village to join in ancestral games and traditions.

Immersive Lodging & Culinary Delights
A&K has carefully selected accommodations immersed in wildlife settings, from the Pacific Ocean shores of Palau Pacific Resort to the serene surroundings of Etosha King Nehale. These locations offer both comfort and authentic wildlife encounters. Meals are a sensory delight, complemented by local entertainment and stunning backdrops, allowing guests to savor destination-specific cuisines at their leisure.

Dream Team Onboard
Leading the journey is an experienced Tour Director, who oversees the itinerary from start to finish. On the ground, the group divides into smaller parties, each led by a Tour Manager and assisted by resident guides, wildlife trackers, and local experts. An onboard physician travels with the group to assist with any medical issues, while a dedicated Luggage Manager oversees the handling of guests’ luggage between every destination as part of A&K’s Travelling Bell Boy® service. Finally, a professional photographer is always on hand to offer tips for capturing the perfect shot and record the journey as it happens.

Experience Luxury in the Skies
A&K's chartered Boeing 757 offers the utmost in comfort and style with 48 first-class, fully lie-flat seats and a range of amenities, including iPads, noise-canceling headphones, and an espresso maker. Throughout each journey, a dedicated cabin crew (complete with executive chef) provides peerless personalized service, remembering each guest’s preferences and ensuring their favorite drink is ready without having to ask. Touch down in exotic destinations not easily accessible via the major carriers, reliably coming and going on a timetable based on A&K’s itinerary — not an airline’s convenience.
