Your Personalized Family Adventure
Spending time with family becomes truly unforgettable when you are tracking Africa’s greatest predators on safari, capturing photos atop a cloud-skimming mountain or sailing across the shimmering Mediterranean. Travelling with A&K means you can savor those special moments while our expert team takes care of everything else.
Every family is different – you could be travelling with a few close relatives or your entire extended family – so no two A&K Tailormade Journeys are ever the same. Experiences are personalized to suit the whole group, from little adventurers eager for hands-on discovery to teenagers after adrenaline thrills and grandparents marking milestones. As well as customized adventures, we offer Small Group Journeys for families, led seamlessly by our Resident Tour Directors®.
From start to finish, our experts handle every detail, leaving space for quality family time. Group excursions, individual activities and downtime are all accounted for.
With built-in flexibility, everyone in the family is catered for. Museum tours can be adjusted to your pace and interests, the day’s start time shaped around children’s sleep schedules, and dinners extended for leisurely meals.
A&K experts work with you to choose accommodations based on your family’s needs, whether you want amenities like club lounges or pools, or interconnecting rooms for ease and peace of mind.
Hand‑selected personally for your family, our local guides know their homeland inside out and bring the spirit of exploration to life. They make every experience relatable for curious young minds, weaving stories into moments that stay with them.
Our insider access creates shared moments that become family lore. Drift above the Maasai Mara at sunrise in a hot air balloon, ride through Rome’s historic streets on vintage Vespas – memories you will cherish for years to come.
A&K’s global network is unrivaled; our expertise spans 70 offices and 83 countries. Families are looked after every step of the way, with on-the-ground assistance available 24/7.
