Arrive in Lisbon, Portugal’s exciting capital. The next day, take a private tram ride to the Sao Jorge Castle for outstanding views of the city. Later, experience a bird’s eye view of the coast of Lisbon on a private flightseeing excursion by helicopter. Tonight’s exclusive dinner is set at the 17th-century Palace of the Marquesses of Fronteira, one of the finest residences in the city and famous for its stunning gardens. Your meal is accompanied by music from some of Lisbon’s most talented fado (traditional folk) musicians.

Board your NetJets aircraft for the flight to Bilbao, Spain. You are here to visit its star attraction, the instantly recognizable Guggenheim Museum. After breakfast, visit the beautiful Chillida Leku Sculpture Park, created by Eduardo Chillida, Spain’s preeminent sculptor. Drive to the top of Mount Igueldo to take in superb views across the Bay of Biscay. Travel onward to the quaint and charming fishing town of Getaria, where you have time to explore before enjoying a traditional seafood lunch overlooking the port. San Sebastián is renowned for its pintxos (as tapas is known in the Basque region), and tonight’s dinner is a pintxos crawl through the Parte Vieja (Old Town) district, where you sample delicacies from several of the city’s finest venues, as well as hear a musical performance by local students in traditional attire.

Monte Carlo, Monaco | The World’s Playground

Return to Bilbao for your NetJets flight to Nice. From there, drive to the Principality of Monaco. Located along the French Riviera, Monaco is an international byword for luxury and fine living — and the adopted home of Geoffrey Kent, who joins you for your stay here. After lunch, visit the residence of the royal family in the Palais Princier; afterward, you have the option to view the prince’s impressive collection of classic cars. This evening, recap highlights of the day over a fabulous private dinner. The next day, depart your hotel in a chauffeur-driven classic car for a ride down the beautiful coastline. On arrival in St Paul de Vence, a longtime artists’ mecca nestled in the nearby hills, enjoy a game of boules (similar to bocce) with the locals. Continue to the lovely village of St-Paul-de-Vence, a longtime artists’ mecca nestled in the nearby hills. Have lunch at a charming restaurant; afterward, there is time to explore on your own or visit a well-known modern art gallery, Fondation Maeght. Budapest, Hungary | City on the Danube

Transfer to the airport for your NetJets flight to Budapest, Hungary’s scenic capital that straddles the Danube River. The city was originally two separate cities, Buda and Pest, and your visit begins on the west bank in Buda. Begin with lunch at a restaurant in the Fishermen’s Bastion. Visit Matthias Church, coronation site for generations of Hungarian kings, and then descend underground for a private tour of the Hospital in the Rock, a combination of emergency hospital and air-raid shelter. Explore Pest the next day. Start with a private visit to the palatial State Opera House and pause for coffee and tortes at the New York Café, once regarded as the most beautiful coffeehouse in the world. Continue to the Central Market Hall to take in the vast array of foods and crafts for sale. After lunch, visit the Great Synagogue — the largest in Europe — as well as the Jewish Museum, followed by a delightful private cruise on the Danube. This evening’s dinner includes traditional Hungarian gypsy music at Gundel, one of the city’s most famous restaurants. On your third day, explore the magnificent Hungarian Parliament, one of the largest of its kind in the world. After lunch, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure to discover more of Hungary’s grand capital city. Traditional Magyar cuisine takes center stage tonight at a local restaurant, where dinner is served.

Your journey continues with a morning flight to Croatia. Arrive in Dubrovnik and have lunch in a riverside restaurant located in an old mill. Later, visit charming Cavtat with its lovely harbor and beaches. Enjoy dinner tonight at Nautika restaurant with sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea and the iconic Lovrijenac Fortress. The next day, spend the morning exploring the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Strolling along the promenade known as the Stradun, see the 14th-century Franciscan monastery at one end and Church of St. Blaise and the Sponza Palace at the other. Lunch today includes a talk by a former militia corporal with incredible firsthand stories of the dissolution of Yugoslavia in 1993. This afternoon, you are free to explore on your own. Choose your dining venue for tonight from a handful of fine restaurants selected by the experts at Abercrombie & Kent.

Fly to Italy this morning, arriving at Naples Airport and making the short drive to Pompeii. Buried under volcanic ash in AD 79, the city provides a fascinating glimpse into life during the Roman Empire. After lunch, continue to Sorrento, where you board a boat for the isle of Capri. Visit the beautiful Blue Grotto the next day, a famous attraction even in the days of the Roman Empire; enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood near the famous Piazzetta, and later, dine at a selection of excellent handpicked restaurants. The next day, choose from several sightseeing options, including a shopping expedition in Capri Town, a visit to a sumptuous historic villa, and a chairlift ride to the top of Mount Solaro. Gather for your farewell dinner at Michelin starred Ristorante Mammà. On your last day, depart for the airport for your international flight home.
