Today, explore the region on any of several A&K Design Your Day optional activities. Seek the exhilaration of ziplining through the forest between Whistler Mountain and Black Mountain or the adrenaline rush of whitewater rafting down the Lower Cheakamus River. Go mountain climbing high in Whistler’s backcountry or take on the guided challenge of ascending to Whistlers Peak via a man-made vertical pathway called the Via Ferrata (Iron Way).

Enjoy a full day at leisure, free to relax at your resort or indulge in any of the many optional activities available, such as bear viewing, ecology tours, canoeing, fishing, heli-hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, river rafting and ziplining. You may also wish to board the peak-to-peak gondola between Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain, taking in spectacular views of rugged peaks, glaciers, wildflowers and wildlife, and perhaps disembarking for a vigorous mountain hike.

Catch a glimpse of the city’s mixed Native, European and Asian cultures in the T&T Asian Market, legendary Chinatown and historic Gastown. Discover the thriving residential area known as the West End as you head into Stanley Park to view the authentic West Coast Totem Poles. Next, cross Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore for a visit of tranquil Capilano Canyon and observe the life cycle of the Pacific salmon. The grand finale is a walk through the coastal rainforest — enjoy the captivating views of Burrard Inlet and discover lichen, moss, ferns, and flowering plants growing under the mantle of Douglas fir, cedar and hemlock trees. After working up a healthy appetite, enjoy a picnic lunch, complete with fine china and linens.

Fly by seaplane from Coal Harbour to Victoria Harbour for a private tour of Victoria and Butchart Gardens. This 50-acre horticultural showplace is truly one of the finest in the world. If time permits, also visit the nearby Victoria Butterfly Gardens or the Church & State Winery. Next, head downtown to visit the shops on Government Street and Antique Row, and explore Victoria’s Old Town, including the oldest Chinatown in Canada. You may choose to visit Craigdarroch Castle or visit the quaint streets of Oak Bay. Alternatively, drop by the Royal British Columbia Museum, considered one of the top 10 museums in North America.
Today, transfer to the Vancouver International Airport to board your departing flight.

Go Whale Watching by Zodiac
Enjoy the exhilaration of zipping across the seas in an open-air, eco-friendly Zodiac boat on a shared experience to the Juan de Fuca and Haro Straits, home to nearly 80 orcas (killer whales).
