Stop at the visitor’s center before proceeding to Jenny Lake, a pristine body of water nearly two square miles in size that was formed by glaciers thousands of years ago. Ascend to the top of Signal Mountain for magnificent views of the park and the Tetons. As you descend the mountain, pass Jackson Lake, the Snake River and several other picture-worthy sights. YELLOWSTONE | OLD FAITHFUL GEYSER & PROFUSE WILDLIFE
Early this morning, travel to Yellowstone National Park to explore the park's most famous geological features. The day can be customized by your naturalist guide to suit your interests and preferred activity level, with numerous opportunities to view the area’s bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles and natural hot springs. Arrive at Old Faithful, and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch while you wait for its next eruption, which occurs approximately once every ninety minutes. Afterward, stop at the historic Old Faithful Inn, a towering marvel of wood and stone. Then, charter a private boat for an afternoon of fishing or sightseeing on Yellowstone Lake. Explore secluded areas of the park otherwise inaccessible by foot or automobile. Try your hand as an angler, with the hope of hooking a famed Yellowstone cutthroat trout. Grab a pair of binoculars and keep an eye out for moose, elk, and even grizzly bears along the shoreline! Later, return to your hotel via private transfer, and enjoy the evening at your leisure.
YELLOWSTONE | WHERE BISON STILL ROAM FREE
After an early breakfast, join your driver-guide for a morning full of wildlife viewing. Stop by the ranger station to pick up your materials for an engaging self-guided Junior Ranger scavenger hunt. Then, make your way to Hayden Valley. Once the site of a large lake, it is now home to the world’s largest free-roaming herd of bison. See the fascinating Mud Volcano area. Finally, head over to the stunning Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as your expert guide points out classic and the lesser-known highlights of the park. Stay watchful for the bears and wolves that like to roam this region and break for lunch at Canyon Village. Before you are transferred back to your hotel, stop by the ranger station once again to trade in your completed scavenger hunt checklist for official Yellowstone junior ranger patches.

Then, visit the Boiling River, where hot and cool water currents blend to create a pleasant bathing temperature, inviting you to take a dip. After drying off, savor a gourmet picnic lunch before making your way into the Lamar Valley, sometimes called the Serengeti of North America, where packs of wolves roam freely.
