Arrive in Jackson Hole, where you are met by your driver-guide and privately transferred to your luxury resort. Spend the day getting acclimated at your leisure.

JACKSON HOLE | GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK

Rise early and join your expert driver-guide for the journey to Grand Teton National Park. On arrival, start today’s wildlife safari at the National Elk Refuge, a safe habitat for the endangered species. Continue toward Antelope Flats and Mormon Row, for a glimpse of the impressive herds of bison and pronghorn that call this place home. Stop at the visitor’s center before proceeding to Jenny Lake, a pristine body of water nearly two square miles in size that was formed by glaciers thousands of years ago. Ascend to the top of Signal Mountain for magnificent views of the park and the Tetons. As you descend the mountain, pass Jackson Lake, the Snake River and several other picture-worthy sights. Finish your day with a drive on Moose-Wilson Road, where you may view a diversity of wildlife, from beavers to herons and moose to grizzlies. Enjoy lunch, followed by time at leisure.

Day 3
JACKSON HOLE | SNAKE RIVER FLOAT TRIP

After a leisurely breakfast, let your naturalist driver-guide lead you through scenic countryside to the Snake River Canyon, where you embark on a relaxing float trip down the Snake River, viewing stunning natural wonders along the way. If you feel more adventurous, you may opt for a small-group whitewater rafting trip instead. Back on shore, gather for a gourmet picnic lunch amid tranquil cottonwood trees in a private river tipi camp. Savor your delicious meal, made all the more mouthwatering by the fresh Wyoming air, before returning to your resort.

Day 4
YELLOWSTONE | OLD FAITHFUL GEYSER & PROFUSE WILDLIFE

Early this morning, travel to Yellowstone National Park to explore the park's most famous geological features. The day can be customized by your naturalist guide to suit your interests and preferred activity level, with numerous opportunities to view the area’s bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles and natural hot springs. Arrive at Old Faithful, and enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch while you wait for its next eruption, which occurs approximately once every ninety minutes. Afterward, stop at the historic Old Faithful Inn, a towering marvel of wood and stone. Then, charter a private boat for an afternoon of fishing or sightseeing on Yellowstone Lake. Explore secluded areas of the park otherwise inaccessible by foot or automobile. Try your hand as an angler, with the hope of hooking a famed Yellowstone cutthroat trout. Grab a pair of binoculars and keep an eye out for moose, elk, and even grizzly bears along the shoreline! Later, return to your hotel via private transfer, and enjoy the evening at your leisure.

YELLOWSTONE | WHERE BISON STILL ROAM FREE

After an early breakfast, join your driver-guide for a morning full of wildlife viewing. Stop by the ranger station to pick up your materials for an engaging self-guided Junior Ranger scavenger hunt. Then, make your way to Hayden Valley. Once the site of a large lake, it is now home to the world’s largest free-roaming herd of bison. See the fascinating Mud Volcano area. Finally, head over to the stunning Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, as your expert guide points out classic and the lesser-known highlights of the park. Stay watchful for the bears and wolves that like to roam this region and break for lunch at Canyon Village. Before you are transferred back to your hotel, stop by the ranger station once again to trade in your completed scavenger hunt checklist for official Yellowstone junior ranger patches.

Day 6
YELLOWSTONE | NORTH AMERICAN SERENGETI

Today, discover the Grand Loop Road, which takes you through some of the most scenic and wildlife-rich sections of Yellowstone's northern range. Explore classic park sites and take time to walk down the Mammoth Terraces, an above-ground example of volcanic forces at work. Then, visit the Boiling River, where hot and cool water currents blend to create a pleasant bathing temperature, inviting you to take a dip. After drying off, savor a gourmet picnic lunch before making your way into the Lamar Valley, sometimes called the Serengeti of North America, where packs of wolves roam freely. Cap off your day with a drive over Dunraven Pass, crossing spectacular Mount Washburn, as you return to your lodge.

After breakfast, join a museum curator for a VIP tour of the Buffalo Bill Center of The West. Continue on to Buffalo, Wyoming, taking in sweeping views of the rugged Bighorn Range along the way. Settle in at the Historic Occidental Hotel, an authentic frontier inn where Theodore Roosevelt, Butch Cassidy, and the Sundance Kid have stayed.

KEYSTONE, SOUTH DAKOTA | CLIMBING DEVILS TOWER

Rise early and make your way to Devil’s Tower for a guided rock climbing adventure suited to any skill level. Following a brief safety orientation and gear fitting, take a deep breath of the crisp Great Plains morning air and begin your ascent. Climb as high as you like, pausing for a photo before rappelling your way back down to base camp. After lunch, continue your journey through South Dakota’s Black Hills. Upon arriving in Keystone, check in to your lodge and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4
KEYSTONE | MOUNT RUSHMORE

Today, begin with a drive up to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Admire the colossal granite faces of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt as your guide relays the history behind this iconic national treasure. Then, take off on a private helicopter tour revealing the majestic monument at the presidents’ eye level. Afterward, hike the Presidential Walking Trail for a breathtaking view of the monument. Continue on to the Crazy Horse Memorial, a work-in-progress that dwarfs Mount Rushmore. Learn about the area’s indigenous peoples and the monument commemorating this great Lakota leader. Proceed through the surrounding Custer State Park along the Needles Highway and Wildlife Loop Roads, stopping for prairie dog, pronghorn antelope and bison sightings en route to your lodge.

Today, explore Badlands National Park with a privately guided tour revealing its geological history and abundant wildlife. Next, encounter one of the nation’s largest wild bison herds before returning to Keystone for an evening at leisure.
