Begin your day with a visit to the Ilboru Primary School. Sponsored by A&K Philanthropy, the school offers vital programs for deaf and disabled children. Next, fly to Tarangire National Park and settle into your tented safari camp where open grasslands, acacia trees and the Tarangire River paint a wild landscape. Embark on an afternoon game drive in search of giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeest, zebras and elephants. Keep your eyes trained for hartebeest, gazelles and exotic birds. Your local expert driver-guide draws on years of experience in the bush to locate the best wildlife viewing opportunities right as they happen.
Tarangire National Park | Epic Game Drives
Set out on morning and afternoon game drives among Tarangire’s baobab forests, acacia-dotted plains and life-sustaining riverbanks. Track exotic species, such as the eland, fringe-eared oryx, greater kudu and the elusive wild dog. Tarangire is also home to safari icons like giraffes, waterbucks, wildebeests, zebras and leopards
Ngorongoro Crater | The Vast Caldera Revealed
This morning, cross the Great Rift Valley, stopping for a market visit in Mto wa Mbu. After browsing the market stalls brimming with vibrant local produce, hop on a tuk-tuk for a ride through the village and surrounding rice fields. Later, marvel as dense vegetation gives way to reveal the natural amphitheater of Ngorongoro Crater, a 2,000-foot-deep caldera teeming with buffalo, flamingos, lions and leopards.
