Day 1

Meet in Paris for transfer to the village of Meaux. After a welcome reception and crew introductions, settle into your spacious cabin before a gourmet dinner on board.

Day 2

Cruise through wooded countryside to Saint-Jean-les-Deaux-Jumeaux. After lunch, tour the stunning 17th-century Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a Baroque masterpiece designed by the architect of Versailles for finance minister Nicholas Fouquet.

Day 3

This morning, cruise through a landscape of villages and vineyards to Château-Thierry. Visit the battle site of Belleau Wood and the beautifully maintained Aisne-Marne American Cemetery and Memorial, commemorating the sacrifice of American marines in World War I.

Day 4

Today, visit Épernay, home to many Champagne houses. Enjoy a tasting at the famed Möet & Chandon winery with its 18 miles of cellars, where some 30 million bottles are stored. Continue to the pretty village of Hautvillers, where monk Dom Perignon invented the Champagne-making process. Dinner is ashore this evening at a Michelin-starred restaurant.

Day 5

After a leisurely morning cruise, take a scenic drive to a family-run vineyard for a tour and tasting. Later, enjoy another gourmet dinner aboard 'C'est la Vie.'

Day 6

During today's excursion to Reims, visit the magnificent 800-year-old cathedral where French kings were crowned. Continue to the former palace of the Archbishops of Reims, now a museum, with time at leisure for individual exploration of the historic town.

Day 7

After breakfast, disembark in Châlons-en-Champagne and transfer back to Paris.
