Day 1
SUNDAY

Meet in Paris and then drive to luxurious 'C’est la Vie,' moored in the small village of Ravières. After a welcome reception and crew introductions, settle into your spacious cabin before a gourmet dinner on board.

MONDAY

Cruise to Ancy-le-Franc today with time to walk or cycle along the towpath. After lunch on board the barge, visit 12th-century Abbaye de Fontenay, one of France's oldest Cistercian monasteries.

Day 3
TUESDAY

Tour the Renaissance château of Ancy-le-Franc with its magnificent courtyard and beautiful parkland. After a leisurely afternoon cruise, drive to Chablis for dinner ashore at Hostellerie des Clos, set in a converted hospital and adjacent to a former 12th-century winery.

Day 4
WEDNESDAY

The charming medieval village of Noyers-sur-Serein awaits today. One of the most beautiful towns in France, its colorful atmosphere includes old ramparts, half-timbered buildings and a lively market. Cruise to the port town of Tanlay this afternoon with more opportunities for walking and cycling.

Day 5
THURSDAY

Return to the wine town of Chablis today for a tasting of the local vintages. Meet the viticulturists who expertly grow the pampered grapes used in the region's famous white wines.

Day 6
FRIDAY

A final cruise today takes you to St-Florentin, terraced into the hillside overlooking the Armaçon River. Visit the town of Auxerre and visit Cathédrale St-Etienne, built between the 13th and 16th centuries. Return to the barge for a gala Captain's dinner tonight.

SATURDAY

After breakfast, transfer back to Paris, arriving in late morning.

Route runs in reverse on alternate weeks and may differ on selected cruise dates.
