BARCELONA | The City of Gaudí

Set off on a panoramic tour of Barcelona. Experience Antoni Gaudí’s enchanting creations, exploring the wild organic shapes of Parc Guell, where the artist explored landscape gardening, and the funky Sagrada Familia Basilica. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to continue exploring this glamorous city.

BARCELONA | Catalan Culture Immersion

Visit Barcelona's exciting Boquería, one of Europe’s best food markets. Your Culinary Connection continues with a local chef who teaches you to prepare local Spanish dishes, which you feast on for lunch. Walk the cobblestone streets of the Gothic Quarter before flying to Granada, Andalusia’s alluring city, where you enjoy dinner on arrival.

GRANADA | Mythical Moorish City

Visit the Alhambra, an ancient palace and fort, and one of the most beautiful examples of Moorish influence and Islamic architecture in the world. Explore Granada at your leisure before departing for clifftop Ronda, where you check in to your historic parador, its spectacular views overlooking valleys and mountains.

GIBRALTAR, UNITED KINGDOM | Rock of Gibraltar

Travel west to the Rock of Gibraltar, where you ride a cable car to its summit and gaze out across the straits to the coast of Morocco. Visit St. Michael’s Cave and observe Gibraltar’s Barbary macaques, Europe’s only wild monkeys. Return to Ronda to explore at your leisure.

DAY 6
SEVILLE | Andalusian Ranch Visit

This morning, explore Ronda on a walking tour that introduces you to its legacy of bullfighting. Then, journey outside the city to Reservatauro Ronda to see the horses and bulls raised there. After lunch on site, proceed to Seville and your hotel. This evening, set out on a tapas tour through Seville’s finest taverns for a fun Culinary Connection.

DAY 7
SEVILLE | The Fine Art of Flamenco

Explore this uniquely lovely city: the Royal Palace of the Alcázar, the enormous Gothic cathedral and of course, the flower-filled Santa Cruz district. Enjoy a fun lesson in flamenco dancing, learning the steps of this cultural classic. Later, celebrate a Musical Connection, riding in a horse-drawn carriage to Tablao El Arenal for an unforgettable dinner, followed by a performance of flamenco dancing and singing.

CÓRDOBA | Streets of Flowers

Set out for Córdoba to visit the extraordinary Mezquita, the cathedral and former great mosque of Córdoba, and walk its flower-lined streets. Later in the afternoon, board your high-speed AVE train to Madrid.

DAY 9
MADRID | Museum Scavenger Hunt

Visit the magnificent Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, where you embark on a scavenger hunt that eventually leads to treasure. Then, visit the Plaza Mayor for some delicious, sweet churros dunked in hot chocolate. Continue to the traditional, action-packed San Miguel market. Tonight, join your Resident Tour Director for a farewell dinner.
