Tour this city of historic eye candy, exploring the hilltop Edinburgh Castle with its incredible Crown Jewels, the Royal Mile and Mary King’s Close, buried beneath the city. Your afternoon is at leisure before a Scottish Night dinner with traditional entertainment.

ST. ANDREWS | Birthplace of Golf

Drive to St. Andrews, birthplace of golf and home of Scotland’s oldest university, where Prince William and Princess Kate met as students. Explore the legendary Old Course. Travel to Pitlochry, where you enjoy lunch at Hettie’s Tearoom and see the creation of Heathergems jewelry during an Artisan Connection. Enjoy watching highly trained sheep dogs at work before arriving at your hotel in Inverness.

INVERNESS | Highlands Traditions

Drive to the Scottish Highlands. Explore the notoriously storied Dunrobin Castle and watch an amazing falconry display in its gardens. Visit Dalmore whisky distillery, where parents enjoy a tasting. Your evening is at leisure.

INVERNESS | The Stuff of Legend

Travel to the battlefield of Culloden Moor, where the Jacobite army was defeated in 1746. Later, cruise the waters of Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle. Stop in charming Fort Augustus to watch the locks of the Caledonian Canal, then take the less-trodden path on an 18th-century military road to see the Falls of Foyers. Tonight, dine at a local restaurant.

DUBLIN, IRELAND | Exciting Capital City

Fly to Dublin, Ireland, and transfer to your hotel. The next day, explore this colorful non-stop capital from the seat of a World War II amphibious vehicle on a Viking Splash tour. Later, step into another world rich in Irish legends at the National Leprechaun Museum.

BLARNEY & KILLARNEY | The Kingdom of Kerry

Stop for views of the haunting Rock of Cashel en route to the Donkey Sanctuary, where you visit with and learn about rescued donkeys from across the country. Continue to Blarney Castle, where you climb its tower and kiss the famous Blarney Stone, said to bestow the “gift of the gab” upon all who dare. Later, check in to your striking contemporary hotel in Killarney. The next morning begins with a spin in a lively jaunting car ride with real jarvies (drivers). Journey to Muckross Traditional Farms to see farming traditions in action. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure, with time to explore Killarney.

DINGLE & DOONBEG | Celtic Life

Follow the shore of the Dingle Peninsula to charming Dingle Town, continuing on the Slea Head Drive along the soaring cliffs. Check in to your boutique hotel, a former 18th-century manor house in the center of Ennis town. The next day, visit Craggaunowen, a living history park focused on the Bronze Age Celtic way of life. See its castle and learn of the voyage of St. Brendan, an explorer who some say discovered America before Columbus. Return to your hotel with time at leisure. Tonight, join your fellow guests for a special farewell dinner.

Transfer to the airport in Shannon and depart.
