Guests arrive by camel to the A&K Private Desert Camp in Morocco, which appears like a mirage in the Sahara and vanishes just as quickly. But not before you can sink into a hand-crafted Sirocco-style chair on the veranda of your traditional caidal tent, as dinner is served fireside under the stars by your very own chef. Decorated with local design cues such as Moroccan kilim rugs, each solar-powered tent has electricity, carpets, solid beds and running water. It’s the perfect space to come home to and be pampered by your private staff after a day exploring the dunes on camelback.
