Bwindi Community Hospital & Nursing School (Uganda)
Visit the rural village of Bwindi to see how the community has partnered with A&K Philanthropy to grow a remote medical outpost into a thriving health care oasis serving 100,000 Ugandans. After a tour of the children’s ward and maternity wing, meet the local nursing school’s students and explore their learning lab, gaining insights into their training and inspiring personal goals.

Nakatindi Community & School (Zambia)
Visit Nakatindi, a village bordering the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, to meet the women who own and operate the local bike shop co-op. Experience the shop at work as you learn how these inspiring entrepreneurs have partnered with A&K Philanthropy to repair and resell second-hand bicycles as a means to support their families and broaden the community’s mobility. Children of the Rainbow School (Peru)
Visit the Children of the Rainbow School, a vital resource for the region's least privileged children, in Peru's Sacred Valley. See how the community has partnered with A&K Philanthropy to expand this kindergarten-through-sixth-grade elementary school’s outreach beyond education, growing it into an oasis of nutrition, medical care and hope. After a warm welcome from the children, tour the school’s cafeteria, kitchen, garden and classrooms, interacting with the children and gaining insights from A&K’s local Philanthropy Coordinator along the way.

Save the Florentine Monuments (Italy)
Go off the beaten path to the 13th-century Basilica of Santissima Annunziata, where you will look in on an ambitious restoration project sponsored by A&K Philanthropy. Accompanied by a member of the small, on-site team of art restorers, visit the Giambologna Chapel, one of the Basilica’s many side chapels. Observe firsthand how restorers bring out the original features of its Renaissance artworks, which might otherwise be lost forever.
