Pay an optional visit to the ancient Coptic Monasteries of Wadi el-Natrun en route to Alexandria. The Valley of Natrun was once the home of more than 50 monasteries. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore on your own or enjoy the facilities of your hotel, a seaside tower with stunning views over the sea and the glittering city, often referred to as the “Pearl of the Mediterranean.”
