Day 3: Edinburgh & Kelso | Inspirational Surroundings
Begin your day with private, before-hours entry to Holyrood Palace, the Queen’s official Scottish residence. Continue to Abbotsford, country home of the great author Sir Walter Scott in the Scottish Borders region. After a tour, enjoy lunch at the home. Pause at the magnificent ruins of Melrose Abbey, before arriving at your hotel nestled on the estate of the Duke of Roxburghe.

Day 4: Kelso | On Location
This morning, see how the Duke of Roxburghe embraces both tradition and modernity with a private tour of Floors Castle. Begin with coffee and a briefing on the property in the Duke’s private dining room. Take in the vast grounds of the estate as you learn about its ongoing horse breeding legacy, as well as modernizations including an on-site biomass power system. Next, drive toward the North Sea to tour Alnwick Castle, seat of the Dukes of Northumberland and a filming location for Harry Potter and Downton Abbey.
