Arrive in Edinburgh, where you are met by your Guardian Angel and privately transferred to your luxury hotel.
Days 2-3: Edinburgh | Magnificent Architecture
Set out on a city tour that includes Edinburgh Castle, home to the Honors of Scotland (the Scottish Crown Jewels), the Royal Mile and St. Giles Cathedral. See Holyrood Palace, the Queen’s official residence in Scotland (subject to cancellation in the event of an official function). Then, see the Scottish Parliament Building before returning to your hotel for time at leisure. The following day, join your guide for a brunch tour through the city’s burgeoning Canongate neighborhood, pausing for tastings as you learn about the area. End in the brewing district, where you enjoy a beer and cheese tasting before returning to your hotel for time at leisure.

Days 4-5: Gleneagles | Ancient Stronghold
Transfer to Gleneagles, where you check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, choosing from optional activities such as falconry and gun dog training (additional cost). The following day, discover Stirlingshire. An ancient stronghold situated at a bridging point over the River Forth, it is where the armies of William “Braveheart” Wallace defeated the invading forces from England in 1297. See the majestic Stirling Castle and the Royal Chapel, where Mary was crowned King of Scots. Proceed to Bannockburn, the battlefield where Robert the Bruce expelled the English armies, continuing to the scenic Trossachs and peaceful Loch Katrine, which you view from the decks of the historic SS ‘Sir Walter Scott.’ Return to your hotel and spend your evening at leisure.

Day 6: St. Andrews | Birthplace of Golf
Discover the coastal town of St. Andrews, renowned home of golf. See the iconic first tee and 18th green at the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse. Then, delve into the area’s ecclesiastical and educational history when you visit the ruins of the largest cathedral ever built in Scotland and the country’s oldest still-active university, where Prince William met his future bride, Catherine Middleton. End the day at Eden Mill Distillery for a tasting and tour that showcases how beer or spirits are made, depending on which interests you most. Return to your hotel, where you spend the evening as you choose.
