Day 1: Arrive Paris, France

Upon arrival in Paris, you are met by your A&K representative and privately transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Paris | Unrivaled Cultural Icon

Set out on a quintessentially Parisian day, beginning with a private tour of the Musée d’Orsay, home to a national collection of masterworks. Next, visit a pâtisserie for a hands-on lesson in baguette and croissant baking. This evening, enjoy private, after-hours access to the renowned Paris Opera Garnier, followed by dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Paris | Reflections on the Seine

Begin your day with a visit to the Fragonard Perfume Museum, creating your own signature scent with help from a professional perfumer. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

Day 4: Paris | Echoes of Napoleon

This morning, experience Paris' gripping history with visits to Napoleon's monumental final resting place and the Latin Quarter's storied Great Mosque, where you pause for traditional mint tea and North African pastries. Enjoy lunch and a walking tour in the Montmartre district, exploring Paris' last remaining vineyard. Next, toast your companions and crew as you are welcomed aboard ‘Panache.’ This evening, enjoy your first dinner aboard, cruising past Paris’s iconic landmarks and bridges.

Day 5: Paris to Meaux | Cruising the Marne

Bid au revoir to Paris, cruising east on the Marne River toward Meaux. In the afternoon, disembark for a visit to the town’s Musée de la Grande Guerre, a fascinating museum chronicling World War I.

Day 6: Meaux to Courtaron | Grand Riverside Château

Visit Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, a pioneering architectural masterpiece that inspired the Palace of Versailles. Take in the château’s period decor and manicured gardens before continuing upriver to the hamlet of Courtaron.

Day 7: Château-Thierry | Uncorking the Champagne Region

Cross into France’s Champagne region as you cruise toward Château-Thierry. Disembark for a tour of La Maison Pannier’s labyrinth of cellars and a private tasting of the elite Champagne house’s distinctive bubbly. Next, visit the Belleau Wood Battle Monument commemorating American marines who fell in World War I.

Day 8: Cumières | A Taste of the Countryside

Continue your exploration of the Champagne region with a visit to Cumières, exploring the delightful little village by bike or on foot. Next, enjoy a private tour and tasting at the prestigious Domaine Ployez-Jacquemart, capping your evening off with dinner at a Michelin-starred local favorite.

Day 9: Condé-sur-Marne | Birthplace of Bubbly

Visit Hautvillers, a picturesque hilltop village where Dom Pérignon discovered the méthode champenoise. Enjoy degusts (tastes) of Champagne at a specialty boutique before cruising to your final mooring in Condé-sur-Marne. Later in the afternoon, visit Reims Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece where French kings were once crowned.

Day 10: Alsace | Battlefield to End All Battlefields

Bid the crew farewell as you disembark ‘Panache’ and continue overland to explore the World War I battlefield of Verdun. Stop for lunch at the famed Académie des Chefs in Metz before continuing on to Strasbourg for the evening.

Day 11: Strasbourg | Crossroads of France & Germany

After morning tours of the cathedral and Petite France quarter, enjoy a day at leisure among the winding lanes and cozy taverns of this Alsatian Gem. An afternoon visit is offered to the site of Natzweiler, the only concentration camp on French soil.

Day 12: Alsace | Wines of the Vosges Foothills

Tour Colmar’s charming Old Town, pausing to take in the celebrated Issenheim altarpiece at the Musée Unterlinden. Continue along the Alsatian wine route, stopping at a local vineyard in the charming town of Riquewihr for a private tour and tasting.

Day 13: Versailles | Grand Legacy of Louis XIV

Board Europe’s fastest rail line, hurtling back to Paris at speeds of up to 200 mph. On arrival, transfer overland for a guided tour of the Palace of Versailles. Take in the Hall of Mirrors, site of the World War I treaty signing of 1919. Conclude your journey with a farewell dinner at the Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay au Trianon Restaurant.
