Day 1: Arrive Bangkok, Thailand
Arrive in Bangkok, Thailand’s vibrant capital city. Here, some of the world’s most extraordinary markets and cuisine meet with Buddhist temples and modern mega-malls. Upon arrival, you are met by an A&K representative. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the balance of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Bangkok | Buzzing City
Visit the extraordinary Grand Palace, dotted with gardens and statues of mythological creatures. Built in 1782 by King Rama I, Bangkok’s former royal palace is one of the best examples of a Siamese Court; wander its Throne Hall, Coronation Hall, Reception Palace and Funeral Palace. Later, visit Wat Po and the 50-foot Reclining Buddha; covered entirely in gold leaf, it depicts the 108 auspicious signs of the Buddha on the soles of its feet. Also explore the Heritage House and Museum.

Days 3-4: Chiang Rai | Relaxing & Exploring
Fly to Chiang Rai and transfer to your luxurious, Zen-inspired hotel on the banks of the Mekong River. Days 5-6: Chiang Mai | Rose of the North
Transfer to Chiang Mai, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. A complete departure from Bangkok, this breathtaking city boasts hundreds of sacred temples as well as a verdant, mountainous landscape. Take a rickshaw ride on Tapae Road, travelling through the City Walls and along Rajdamnern Road. Explore the bustling night bazaar. After a private blessing ceremony, witness a magical evening chanting of the monks and a spectacular view over Chiang Mai with its millions of glittering lights.

Day 7: Sukhothai | Historic Town
Drive to Sukhothai and see the ruins at Sukhothai Historical Park. The Sukhothai (“Rising of Happiness”) Kingdom was the capital of the first Kingdom of Siam in the 13th and 14th centuries; it remains a masterpiece and offers an memorable example of the first Siamese architectural style.

Fly to Bangkok and transfer to Kanchanaburi. See the bridge on the River Kwai, War Cemetery and Railway Museum. Take a short train ride over the gorge. The next day, view Khmer Temple and Saiyoke Waterfall, taking time to enjoy a scenic lunch at a restaurant on a raft
