One of the most renowned art schools of classical age, Perge’s ruins include an intact ancient theater, stadium, bath house, mile-long colonnaded street and a large agora (gathering place). Afterward, continue to the Antalya Museum to see its archaeological exhibit. Your afternoon is at leisure to relax or continue exploring.
Kempinski Hotel The Dome | Meals: BDrive across the Taurus Mountains to Dalyan. Continue to Iztuzu Beach and board an African Queen-style boat ride through the reed beds to Caunos, a former seaport. The impressive ruins here include fifth-century BC royal tombs carved right into the cliffs. Return to the seashore and the beach, where sea turtles nest. Spend the evening at a lovely boutique hotel in the village of Akkoy, where your host is a gourmet chef.
