Each year, triggered by the rains, 1.3 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thompson’s gazelle migrate to new grazing lands on a route that roughly mimics the boundaries of Serengeti National Park, extending to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve.
