A shining example of Baroque architecture, the town's St. Stephen’s Cathedral is home to one of the world's largest cathedral organs, with more than 17,000 pipes. 'River Cloud II' then cruises a lovely route downstream toward Melk.

Built in the early 18th century, it is situated atop a rocky cliff that affords splendid views. Black-robed Benedictine monks still stroll past the marble sculptures and frescoed walls.
