Rafting
An A&K river camp is like an oasis in the American wilderness. Our tents are spacious and include a sewn-in floor and off-the-ground cots, with sleeping bags and pillows provided. There are separate men's and women's bathroom facilities and refreshing river camp showers upon request. For your convenience, A&K also provides towels and individual headlamps for reading in bed. The best part of the experience: the camp staff handles all the set up and take down for you -- all you need to do is relax and enjoy your rafting holiday.
River Guides
A&K has the highest guide-to-guest ratio in the Western states, with a one guide for every two guests in Utah and for every three or four guests in Montana. Our guides have an average of eight years or more guiding experience, and many have extensive wilderness medical training and are certified in interpretation, offering cultural, historical and geological insights into the areas you travel. In addition to their ability to cruise the most demanding rapids on the river, some have degrees in geology or natural history, and all take continuing education courses in natural and human history and science to provide the most enjoyable and well-rounded rafting experience available.
