Akram "Aki" Allam
Allam is a lifelong resident of Egypt who has shared his passion for his home country with visitors from all walks of life, from Sir Mick Jagger to numerous A&K travellers. He enjoys learning about other cultures from his guests and travelling.
Bromham began his safari career on the back of an elephant at age three. He is a keen birder, photographer and horseman with a deep understanding of East Africa's wildlife and culture.
Born to Franco-Polish parents in London, Ciechanowski began his career as an agriculturalist and estate manager. Now a popular A&K Tour Director who speaks five languages, he still manages the family farm part-time.
Vincenzo De Michelis
Although he has a teaching degree, de Michelis has never taught in the classroom — only on the road with his eager travelers. Fluent in six languages, he has worked in more than 100 countries as a professional Tour Director.
Hatherly has been A&K's China Specialist since 1986. He has worked with organizations such as the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Time/Warner. Hatherly was named one of the "Greatest Travel Pros on Earth" by Condé Nast Traveler.
Born in England, Jeremy studied French, Spanish and Portuguese at university before becoming a Tour Director. He has guided A&K tours for the past 11 years, leading Marco Polo journeys to Spain and Greece along with a number of around-the-world A&K Private Jet Tours, all of which included stops in the Middle East. A keen sportsman, Jeremy captains his local tennis club, plays cricket and golf, and enjoys long walks through European countrysides.
Singh has led many journeys in India and throughout Himalayan countries. His passion for local culture and wildlife are contagious. Singh has had the privilege of escorting many dignitaries throughout India.
