Title: MARKETING ANALYST
Summary:

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for the list compilation and post-campaign data analysis of A&K’s direct mail campaigns. This individual will play a key role in reporting on the overall effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for campaign improvement to drive cost efficiencies and return on investment. This individual will also contribute to developing and refining the overall A&K USA customer contact strategy.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

 • Collaborate with product, marketing, IT and finance teams to build a direct marketing strategy for A&K’s various product lines based on historical results.
• Execute audience segmentation, list generation, and back-end analysis of all direct mail initiatives as well as smaller, trigger-based programs within the framework of the overall A&K USA customer contact strategy.
• Utilize analytics and testing methodologies to identify response trends. Establish success targets for campaigns (response rates, sales conversion and ROI).
• Provide and be knowledgeable in best practices in direct mail development and analysis to optimize efficiency; collaborate with marketing team to improve the quality of deliverables.
• Seek to expand customer database through acquisition programs.
• Provide recommendations and implement initiatives to enrich A&K’s customer profile data.
• Produce data-driven insights, both ad hoc and as required by the business on a monthly basis.
• Manage monthly reporting for A&K’s loyalty program.
• Other duties, as assigned by Director, Marketing.
 

 

Education and Experience

• College degree required; academic background in marketing, statistics, business, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in an analytical role, with an emphasis on marketing campaign analysis and segmentation.
• Experience managing data providers a plus.
 

Skill and Abilities

 • Advanced skills in MS Access and Excel required; Sql and CRM knowledge preferred.
• Working knowledge of database segmentation, analytics and modeling in the marketing environment.
• Key understanding of database and direct mail marketing best practices. Understanding of mailing services and postage regulations is a plus.
• Experience in the development of marketing plans.
• Strong administrative and detail-oriented skills required.
